I had a very good experience of visiting Bandipur for photography with Katrivia. The organization was perfect, we had great sightings and were given on field and off field inputs on how to get the best quality of images given the weather or light conditions. Overall enjoyed and learnt.

Recently had a trip to Bandipur Tiger Reserve. It has been my third visit to Bandipur and indeed a memorable one. The park itself is very beautiful, the views are breathtaking and Katrivia elevates your experience even more with hassle free safaris and great hospitality. The skipper we had was very experienced. From intriguing stories to actual sightings, he covered it all. We were lucky enough to spot all the big 5 from the park. Overall it was a great experience. If you don't want to worry about safari and stay bookings, want to experience jungle at it's fullest, do chose Katrivia.

I just got back from a thoroughly enjoyable trip to Bhadra hosted by Katrivia Expeditions. Bhadra. What can I say? It’s easily one of the most beautiful forests of southern India and the River Tern Lodge nestled on the banks of the backwaters is hands-down JLRs best property, in my opinion. We were treated to sightings of 4 of the “Big Five”; elephants, gaur, a sloth bear and a leopard apart from getting to witness the chaotic cackle of River Tern chicks waiting to be fed by their industrious parents. The leopard sighting was truly special as the sub-adult male was not far, relaxed and unfazed by our presence. This was all thanks to the adroit efforts of our Katrivia skipper Madhavi whose shrewd strategising with the safari driver paid off big time. Her knowledge of the forest, its resident individuals and enthusiasm to share it with us made the safaris even more engaging, informative and enjoyable. The arrangements, be it accommodation or transportation, were immaculately done ensuring an absolutely smooth and hassle-free end-to-end experience. The unique highlight of this trip with Katrivia for me was the presentation by Madhavi one evening on the blood line of Bhadra. Getting to know the forest, its resident individuals, their unique traits and histories went a long way in making us feel more connected to the habitat. Overall, it was a very enjoyable, informative experience and I look forward to my next adventure with them.

I’ve known Arvind for a while but my first tour with Katrivia and my first visit to Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary were truly unforgettable - spotting three individual leopards in just four safaris, including a black panther, was a surreal experience. Travelling solo with a group of men felt both safe and incredibly fun, truly a safe space for solo female travellers. I highly recommend Katrivia to the wildlife enthusiasts, especially women seeking a secure yet peaceful way to experience the wild. True to its name, Kat-Trivia ensures you leave not just with sightings, but with a deep understanding of the forest and it’s wonders. Again, a huge thank you for letting me experience this once-in-a-lifetime experience so beautifully. 😊

Bandipur was such a refreshing experience! 🌿� The safaris were exciting, but what I enjoyed the most was learning about the forest beyond just spotting animals — understanding their behaviour, their stories, and how everything in nature is so beautifully connected. The post-dinner sessions were equally interesting and gave me a whole new perspective on wildlife and, honestly, on life itself. It's amazing how much we humans have in common with animals when it comes to territory, relationships, and survival. Had so many takeaways from this trip and met some wonderful people along the way. This is my first safari with Arvind sir as well as first open jeep safari of my life. I would like to thank Arvind sir for making it memorable trip. Arvind will guide us throughout the trip telling stories of each wild animals their characters , behaviour. Lots of stories connected to places, he will also help you personally during tours to take perfect shots be it you are a beginner like me or an expert. There will be workshops arranged post dinner by arvind sir everyday where he explains in detail about wild life, it will inspire us and creates more curiosity towards wild life and more importantly you will draw so much knowledge and inspiration for leading better life. After all we too are animals. There is a saying in kannada all humans at the end of the day once basic needs like food, shelter and clothes are fullfiled we fight for honnu (gold or money), hennu (women), mannu(land or property). Really felt post seeing the wild animals and their characteristics perhaps our ancestors derived this proverb seeing the same similarities with wild animals. They fight for same, we are all end of the day fighting for same. Ofcourse they don't not need money , but other two women and land and pride they fight very hard for it. Had so many take aways from the trip. Would really recommend joining arvind sir trips to anyone irrespective of you are a photographer or non photographer. Thanks arvind sir 🙏 for making it one of the best trip , alot more to go, thanks for everything.
