I am Ullas Veena, a 28-year-old managing partner at a manufacturing plant in Bengaluru and a dedicated wildlife photographer. My wildlife journey began during the early days of the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, when I started birding in the forest patches of Bangalore University. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a deep passion for wildlife photography.

As my time in the field increased, I became driven to guide others in experiencing the adventure, tranquility, and vital importance of nature and wildlife. I began organizing numerous trips for a large circle of friends and family, quickly realizing that I loved guiding and interpreting nature just as much as photographing it.

Over the past 6 years, with more than 130 safaris under my belt and having built my confidence and expertise through successful freelance photography tours, I am now transitioning all that hands-on expertise, operational background, and deep passion into a full-time professional career at Katrivia Expeditions.
