This tour is open to anyone aged 18 and above who’s curious, passionate, and eager to explore the world of photography. Whether you’re a beginner wanting to understand the basics or an enthusiast looking to refine your skills, this experience is designed to inspire and guide you—no prior experience or fancy gear required, just your love for nature and the desire to learn.

Where are we staying and what kind of accommodation and food can we expect?

We’ll be staying at Wayanad Wild – a CGH Earth property, located by a forest stream in the heart of nature. Accommodation is on a twin-sharing basis in comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Single occupancy is available at an additional cost. Enjoy a delicious buffet of local, Indian, and continental cuisine throughout the stay.

What kind of gear should I bring? Will leech socks and gumboots be provided?

Yes, leech socks and gumboots will be provided by the resort. As for photography gear, our Katrivia skipper will brief you on what to carry based on your level and interests. If needed, the skipper can also assist you with gear rental options—feel free to reach out directly for guidance.

Is it safe to move around with reptiles nearby?

Yes, absolutely. All field activities are conducted under the guidance of an expert naturalist from CGH Earth and a skipper from Katrivia who will ensure your safety while helping you get the best photography opportunities. With their experience and protocols in place, there’s nothing to worry about.
