About the Tour

Nestled in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is one of India’s most iconic jungles – famed for having one of the highest tiger densities in the country. With its mix of dense sal forests, rolling meadows, and ancient fort ruins standing tall within the park, Bandhavgarh offers a rare combination of history and wilderness. This is the very land where the first wild white tiger was discovered, and even today, it continues to be a stage where the tiger reigns supreme.

Katrivia takes you to Bandhavgarh – the land where history meets the roar. Planned during the prime season, our tours give you the best opportunities to witness tigers in their natural glory. Designed for photographers and non-photographers alike, this journey blends adventure, learning, and the unmatched thrill of the wild.

Yes. A Katrivia Expeditions skipper will accompany you on every safari, helping you understand the forest, animal behaviour, and habitat. For photographers, the skipper also provides on-field photography guidance to help you create strong images.

I am a non-photographer. Can I still join the tour?

Absolutely. Our workshops are designed for both photographers and non-photographers. As a non-photographer, you’ll still enjoy an immersive forest experience with a Katrivia Expeditions skipper, learning about wildlife, behaviour, and the ecosystem—experiencing the jungle in a deeper, more meaningful way.
